Why I Started Med Imaging Hub
Med Imaging Hub started with a simple thought: learning medical imaging should not have to feel harder than it needs to be.
As a Medical Imaging Technology student, I have often come across concepts that were difficult to understand from textbooks alone. Finding a clear and simple explanation sometimes meant going through multiple sources, watching several videos, or trying to connect pieces of information on my own.
I realised that if I was facing this difficulty as a student, there were probably many others going through the same thing.
So I decided to create something I would wanted to have during my own learning journey — a space where complex ideas could be explained simply, useful resources could be found in one place, and students could explore how medical imaging connects with technology and artificial intelligence.
What Is Med Imaging Hub?
Med Imaging Hub is a student-led learning initiative focused on Medical Imaging, Artificial Intelligence, technology, and the ideas shaping the future of healthcare.
The goal is simple: to make learning more approachable. Concepts are explored in a clear, practical, and student-friendly way so that difficult ideas can feel easier to understand and more interesting to explore.

The Hub brings together four main areas: Medical Imaging education, AI and Medical Imaging, practical projects, and useful student resources.
From simplified imaging concepts to practical AI projects and useful learning opportunities, the aim is to create a space that students can actually return to throughout their learning journey.
Built From a Student's Perspective
Med Imaging Hub is built from a student's perspective. I am not creating this space because I have everything figured out. I am learning, experimenting, building projects, and discovering new things too.
The idea is to share that learning journey in a way that can also help someone else. If a concept took me hours to understand, maybe the next student can understand it a little faster.
And if something I learn can save another student some searching, confusion, or frustration, then this initiative has already served its purpose.
